This website was established as a virtual meeting place for clinical and basic scientists interested in advancing the study and clinical management of liver metastasis. Our international founding group first met in Antwerp, Belgium in May 2011 with the objective of bringing together cancer specialists with a common interest in molecular/clinical aspects of liver metastasis. The network comprises a multidisciplinary group with complementary expertise, unique resources, diverse investigative tools and access to banked surgical specimens. We are motivated by the strong belief that the only way to expedite progress and move forward in understanding and treating hepatic metastasis is through collaboration and sharing of resources and expertise. We aim to stay connected, develop collaborative multi-national team projects, exchange news and views, share resources and know-how and provide access to tissue samples. To this end, we hope to ultimately establish a tissue bank for the benefit of all participating members.
We hope to broaden the network and gain strength through numbers. We warmly invite you to join us. Please contact us, tell us about yourself, your research team, your research interests, resources and achievements. We are confident that your knowledge and expertise can help us grow and that, in turn, we can make a real difference to your research agenda.
